Emerging country singer-songwriter, Owen Riegling, releases his new single and accompanying visualizer for “Weekend You” via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Showcasing the newcomer’s heartfelt relatable lyrics drawn from personal experiences and the expertise of renowned producer Brad Hill (Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne), who elevates Riegling’s captivating vocals and guitar riffs, the song offers a glimpse into the challenges of love from afar.
"My girlfriend and I spent years doing the medium distance relationship thing, I was living back at home in Mildmay, she was living in Hamilton, and over those years I got to know the Weekend Her. I fell in love with the Weekend Her but one day I was sitting there on a Wednesday afternoon thinking the myself ‘what the hell is this girl doing right now?’, and eventually was so curious I had to write a song about it". - Owen Riegling
